CONFIGURATION OF TECHNOLOGY CLASSROOMS

If you need special software installed, click here.
  • Video projector that can handle high-res computer display as well as video
  • A media control system operated via a touchpad that integrates the operation of the AV equipment, screens, lights, etc.
  • Card key locks for AV closets and projection booths that use faculty ID's
  • Closed captioning capability
  • Assistive listening systems in lecture halls
  • Active data jacks and campus cable jacks to facilitate connecting equipment to campus data and video networks
  • Improved layout of auxilliary input panels for connecting additional equipment
  • Standardized rack layouts to insure that all user-operated items are accessible
  • Media control systems
  • Signs in rooms indicating who to call for assistance
  • In addition to the equipment in the Tech rooms, there will be A/V Carts availble in the KEY building.
    • 1 document camera cart: document camera and video projector
    • 1 AV cart: video projector, VCR, DVD/laserdisk/CD combo player,
    • audio cassette deck, sound system w/ speakers
    • 1 AV cart (see above) + document camera
    • 1 computer cart (can be used in conjunction with any of above carts): PC
